I knew from the moment I saw Avatar that I needed to cosplay it someday. Zuko was immediately my favorite character, and due my propensity to crossplay angry, angsty pretty-boys, as well as a longtime desire to do badass scar makeup, he was the obvious choice of character. ;D

While I really wanted to do his first season outfit (you know, the topknot), time constraints caused me to go with his Season 3 outfit--which was a smart choice, as this costume was pretty damn sewing intensive and took plenty of time itself.

Favorite aspect? The boots, hands down. I worked hard and I loved the way they turned out. Actually, this costume turned out pretty much just how I wanted it to, which is a miracle for little ol' perfectionist me. :3;;

Big thanks to my father, who made my blades! They come together so well, the guy at peace bonding thought they were a single sword. xD
