This project started early 2006 before Twilight Princess was released. It was originally intended to go off of TP Zelda's attire, but that fell through for various reasons. One of them being that I was tired of seeing the same thing being done over and over, and by people with more skill and resources than me, no less. So my friend and I changed it up just a bit and created a custom Hyrulean Princess costume - made from scratch. It took 3 years to complete due to lack of time, and I did my first shoot with a friend out in Oregon farmlands.
I was thrilled to find Zelda's hair was darker in TP than previously. I also really liked her new persona...one of tranquility, and a bit more bravery and resolve. She's not my favorite Zelda gal, but she's definitely up high enough on the list to get a costume out of me. :]
