After making Maya's regular spirit medium clothes, I wanted to do another variation since I already had the wig and accessories.

My friend Nanako had already made the Tres Bien waitress version of Maggey, so I borrowed a swatch of fabric and set out to make Maya's waitress costume to match.

Even better, my friend Cidbram decided to cosplay as everyone's favorite "little French flower" Jean Armstrong. The result was a most epic photoshoot at AFest 2009, courtesy of Kuragiman!

Personally, I found that most people don't even notice regular Maya without a lawyer Phoenix around. I brought that costume with me and it was like not being in cosplay at all - actually a little sad. But waitress Maya got quite a bit of attention on her own. Although I do wonder how many people had any idea who I was - or just wanted pictures of cute maid girls. ^^
