Never thought I'd cosplay this character, lol. But then prodigy_of_chao was interested in an Advent Children cosplay group, so Baru and I went along for the ride. :3

Construction wise, most of the costume was made up as I went along. This was my first time working with pleather and omg trying to put those box pleats in the ass-cape was a bitch. Overall though, most of the costume went along smoothly and, quite uncharacteristically, pretty much how I thought things would in my head. I powered through it in less than a month too, which is REALLY fast for me. I'm the world's slowest sewer duuuur.

I'm really proud of the shoes because I really didn't want to just use converses. I made a cover for a pair of shoes I bought on sale somewhere. There are elastic bands inside the shoes to keep my feet in place so I don't step out of them (because Tifa's design doesn't seem to include laces). I think the image I was looking at was for her KH design though. Because they look a bit more KH than FF to meeee but whatever. ;D

Also. Pleather does not breathe well. You wouldn't think this costume would be all that hot, but I felt like I was in an oven the majority of the time I was wearing it.

I look really bad with black hair. o___o ;;
