When I first watched Eureka seveN, specially Episode 46 (love story + pretty wings = yay), I thought it would be a good idea to make an Eureka cosplay and play a skit based on this episode at a bigger cosplay contest, so I could use some resources usually not used on regular contests.

Well, I never thought I would be selected for one of those contests, and the costume was very complex to me, so I just put the idea on hold. Until I've won a cosplay contest as Lafiel, and that sent me to Yamato Cosplay Cup Brazil 2009. It was my chance! Two (kinda stressful) months later, the costume was ready to use, both "normal" and "episode 46" versions. They debuted at the same day, since I've changed from one to another on the stage; it was part of the drama-based skit. I loved the results. Just loved this costume and the skits (yes, two skits, don't forget the humorous one!).

The costume itself is all oxford. Asian wig, Asian contacts. The boots gave me some headache, because there was no white boots to buy anywhere, so I had to take drastic measures and order custom shoes.

The wings are made of fixed electric wire, flexible plastic, glass varnish, two-sided tape for frames and stuff, EVA / craft foam, transparent Silver Tape, and some transparent, strong glue.

That green arm is made of kitchen gloves, PVC film and adhesive tape, painted with glass varnish. It must be remade every time, but at least it's shiny and somewhat gel-like, and has the exact same vivid green of the wings.
