Talk about cutting it close! I finished this the morning of the "GI Joe: Rise of Cobra" release. After a 4-hour power nap, I went to see the movie. A few older people recognized the costume, which was great. And despite my fears that the movie would suck, I enjoyed it.

Then I went to play Magic at Hypermind and ended up tying for first with my husband after 4 rounds. My mono-white Exalted Soldiers deck came out swinging and trounced my opponents within 20 minutes.

Pretty good night, all told.

The costume is kind of a slap-together. I found a solotard and leotard in the right colors at River's Edge Dancewear. My wig came from Cosworx and boots from eBay.

The gloves, utility belt and shoulder thing were made by me. I used a glove pattern from an old commission. A Magic deck box served as a pattern for the pouches on my belt. And the shoulder thing is a piece of quilting that I attached in key places directly on the leotard.
