My very first cosplay, ever. Before I even knew people did this for a hobby. ^^
My birthday theme back in '03 was anime, and I got as many of my friends to dress up as I could. I had just finished Saint Tail, and begged my grandmother to make this. It was the first thing I ever helped to sew.
I wore this to my first convention, AFO 4. I wore it again to AFO 5, where I learned I had severly outgrown it. So, most pictures from AFO 5 are horrible >.>
The picture I have up is from AFO 4, when it still fit correctly. The gloves are completely ghetto. ^^' The top was crafted from a fitted, long-sleeved dress, and we cut the sleeves at the shoulders, but left them attached beneath the arm, to make glove-like sleeves. I then wore shot gloves over it. It's been amended since (I wear the same gloves now that I wear for my Ruby Moon cosplay), but I now have to ammend the fact that I've grown out of the entire costume except my hat >.>
A new version will probably premire at AFO 6, though I doubt it will look much different.
