I cosplayed him manga style, which justifies it being black and white. XD (My outfit was halfway done by the time Ina-chan's real colors were revealed, so I wasn't going to change it after all that.)
So anyway, I wore this at ConnectiCon on Friday and Saturday. =3 I guess I'm the only Inazuma anyone there has ever seen. ^^ *looks proud* Most people didn't recognize me, some were like "You're that chic/guy from One Piece...What's your name?", and those who did know me were like "ZOMFG, Inazuma!! 8D" I also got lucky that there was a fairly decent One Piece crowd, so I felt loved~! -^^-
The hardest part of this outfit was definitely the wig, no doubt. XD; But our three hours of work sure paid off! ^-^d I owe all my thanks to Missy for that. She's the wig styling expert! ^^ Super duper special thanks goes to her for all her help, since she pretty much did all the work. XD *hugs* You are the BEST!! <3 *bows to your superior wig styling abilities*
The coat was put together by my buddy Joshy, though he accidentally put the colors on the wrong sides. ^^;; But all the same, I thank him for doing it for me in such a short amount of time. ^^ I am going to have a new coat made, actually, with the colors right, and it'll fit better, too. So stay tuned for that!
I'll get around to making the pants at some point, but since the coat is so long, I didn't bother this time around since no one would see them anyway. ^^; My new coat will be shorter and will show them off, though.
Oh, and my friend Burdi was going to make me giant scissors, but that was only if he had time, which sadly, he didn't (he was making my bro an epic sword for his Vyse cosplay). T_T But since I'll definitely be wearing this again, I'm gonna have him try to make 'em anyway for the next con that rolls around. ^^ So I guess this sort of means my cosplay wasn't exactly totally complete for its debute, but due to the time frame in which I had to get it together, it's good enough. ^^ *nodnod* Originally, I planned to do this for next year, you see, but my friend who's gonna be my Iva-san got so excited about us doing it, that she wanted to do it this time around. So I didn't have as much time to prepare as I'd hoped, but I managed. But unfortunately, my Iva-san wasn't able to make it to the con after all, as she was had to be out-of-state, which she was none too pleased about. ^^;
Soooo, yeah. That's that, I suppose. ^^ Hope you guys like it~! X33
Wowey, I guess I should have updated sooner than this... >.>; Slipped my mind. ^^; Haha... So! As you can see, I did indeed get my new coat, and it is all kinds of fabulous~ I owe all my thanks to my neighbor for helping so much with that. She put the white cloth on, and then I added all the fur. =3 The pants are done, too, and came out wonderfully. I had to put them together myself, since I couldn't get a tailor to do it. XD; I'm so proud of me! ^^ *thumbs up* Em...what else..? Oh, I still don't have my scissors. =_=; Someday, someday...I swear! >.<
Scissors are done! Had them ready for Otakon 2011.
