Upgraded since ALA 08 to make it to Otakon 09,
my Hugue costume did return to our cosplay unit...
Well, the costume part remains the same. So still has a same problem while its wearing. My closest girl cosplay friends know what I am talking about. But I love the way it was assembled even though I don't remember how I did it-it was so difficult for sure.
But I did do serious works on the rest of the costume since the summer 08;
More accessories, total re-painting including priming of all of his cute mini armors plus the fake sword (!)
New wig styled by myself but i didn't come across with a good hair spray so it lasted for a day... (I was styling it for a day and night without sleeping at all but..............yeah I am not good at wigs at all)
But it was the wig Takeriya_Hagi bought for me in the midst of our financial crisis...it is a broken wig now but still my treasure.
For all the audience and judges at 1st Mariner Arena, thank you for your warm support and allowing us to have our entry performance. I had a time of my life singing, thank you and thank you, Jesus.
I was afraid to sing something besides from the series at that time (and I am still afraid of checking the video of it hehehe), especially, Trinity Blood has certain set-image to everyone's mind but I wanted to break through it because in my own little interpretation("my own little thing"-emphasised), I know that I know Hugue has something burning inside of his heart towards the end of the RAM series in the original novel. I cannot specify now to avoid spoiler alert but, that is the reason why we had presentation that way...
Thank you for not booing. I mean it, not only that, some of you even had arms pushed up with me towards the end of our performance-I clearly remember. I cried over in the airplane flying back to Los Angeles while Takeriya_Hagi was sleeping right next to my seat, and totally depressed when the plane landed. Yes, I had sever post con blues.
Opps too much info about this cos so I let you go^^
