This was one of the three costumes that I made of Miwako for AFO 2009 and probably my favorite in terms of craftsmanship. My loverboy/Arashi cosplayer and I haven't gotten around to doing a formal photoshoot yet so the costume is a little hard to see, but the neckpiece is entirely hand-gathered and all of the fuzzy portions on the dress (sleeves, neckpiece, hem) are hand-sewn. It was a pretty hard dress to put together, but I love how it came out! (Plus, it's probably the punkiest costume that Miwako wears in the series, which makes my heart flutter!)
