the hakama for this costume are bought and the waraji (straw sandals) are made by a friend, otherwise all of the costume by me
am very happy with my Kenseikan. Even though it took me 2 hours to get it on, but then it stayed on without fail all day. i guess i could even have left the hair pins out and it would still have stayed on O_o
i got way too thick hair...
again somewhat free take-on of the character since he's never actually really shown in this form so i took the liberty to put his clan's emblem onto the back of his haori as well as use the crane theme for the silver buttons on the collar. silver buttons are on the gloves as well, those with cherry blossom motive. unfortunately i don't have any good detail shots yet. in fact there hasn't been a real photo shoot yet, either, because me and my friends were too tired for anything like that on this year's animecon

what's still missing is senbonzakura, which will, for this version be in a white scabbard
real ink drawings of cranes and silver lining will still be added to the haori
