The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

Last Updated: 08-17-2009

Worn opposite Miri's Anju.

Miri did the sewing on this and a majority of the outlining/painting. Any mistakes overall are more than likely mine :D;;.

I filled in the sleeves with Tulip spray fabric paint brushed on and half of the circles on the shorts as well. Overall, the design of the outfit and the detailing was kind of a mix of the in-game render and the concept art.

The Keaton mask was made from a pepakura pattern that was taped, plastered, papier mache'd, papier mache'd again, celluclay'd, sprayed with appliance epoxy, and the product of several other really odd techniques. I made three masks--one plaster version, one celluclay version, and the "final" one made of papier mache, masking tape, and more papier mache.

The envelope was made from a framing mat. The front was meant to follow the design in the manga but it was never completed in time because I rage quit on it.

Boots were ebay'd, contacts are the Geo Crazy Lenses, wig is from ebay as well and styled using Goot2B Glued spray, my novice abilities, a blow dryer, and Across the Universe.

The costume still needs the amulet and Sun Mask, which (hopefully) I'll be able to complete eventually.
