My "reasonable facsimile" of one of the dresses from "The Other Boleyn Girl" - I wasn't trying for an exact replica, since I really only wanted a basic "Anne Boleyn" costume, not necessarily a dress from a movie.
Almost all of my fabric was bought online - the green satin, and the green velvet were bought online. The sleeve fabric and underskirt fabric was bought locally. Most of the beads and jewels were things I already had.
---------
French Hood: I bought this online, took it apart and built it back up with my own fabrics.
Veil: Made of the green silk velvet, it slips on separately from the hood with barrettes.
Necklace: I used an existing pearl necklace, and added the "B" and the pearls extending from it.
Dress: The main part of the dress was made going off of of the Simplicity Tudor pattern - I used it as a starting point and did my own thing after that. The bodice section is boned and laces up the back - the skirt was sewn onto the bodice and is pleated. The dark green velvet sleeves and the lower patterned sleeves are handsewn into place into the main sleeves.
The dark green velvet trim I made and handsewed into place.
Jewels: All of the jewels were things I already had in my bead bin... I had to cast them in order to have enough. I repainted them and added the jewels, then attached them.
Undercorset: Made using the Simplicity pattern, super happy with how it turned out, it really does the job.
Petticoat: Made using the Simplicity pattern.
Hoopskirt & Bumroll: Hoopskirt I already had, added ruffles to. Bumroll was bought on ebay.
Shoes: My old brown Belle shoes - I hope to find something better to wear with it later.

I'm really proud of how it all turned out. My only issue is more with my hoopskirt than the dress. I can't wait to wear this again!
