This was my dream cosplay for awhile now. The picture was my desktop for the longest time. One day I just decided to go ahead with it.

The dress has 8 layers on the skirt, plus tulle and chiffon to add body. I made suspenders for the skirt since it was too heavy to be supported by the elastic waist band. There is a hoop skirt underneath. All the bottom layers and the shirt have a lining.
The headdress/veil is three layers. All the patterns are hand painted.

The trim is spraypainted then handpainted gold. I gathered stitched it then stitched it to the ends. All the layers are serged on the ends to prevent fraying.

I don't use patterns. This was made from scratch. Over 20m of fabric and 50m of trim
