Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion

Last Updated: 09-29-2009

This costume was made in 2 days. No, I'm serious.
Basically, I had loads of pink satin from another dress that I was going to make that fell through. I had recently started watching Code Geass and my friend suggested that I use the satin to cosplay Euphie, since I absolutely love her character design. So I did. And since I had a bunch of commissions to get done, I did this dress in 2 days so that I could get back to them. I think it turned out pretty well for 2 days.
I used Duchesse Satin for the dress with organza for the overskirts and sleeves. I'm not totally happy with how this turned out and I'll probably re-do those bits if I ever wear the costume again.
I'm super proud of the wig, which is actually 2 wigs... a base wig, and another wig that was turned into the buns. I love the size of the buns; it was based off of the CLAMP artwork, hence the size and braided style.
All in all, I'm happy with the costume as a quick, 2 day job. I want to do more of her dresses, but more detailed and with more time to get them perfect!
