Description

Made this costume with ONE fitting towards the beginning, and it ended up failing miserably. With a last second ditch effort, I expanded the pant seams to 1/16th of an inch, took out the pant pockets, sewed the vest straight to the shirt and pinned the back of the pants. It worked @.@;;

Will be sewing an adjustment to the vest and new buttons, a new pair of pants, a lapel flower and hopefully getting a pair of neat tux gloves in the near or far future.

The concept was taken from a couple of different sources. Jack Nicholson's Joker sported a green vest, which we loved and threw on. We decided on a normal "tie", since the bow can be a little strange xD We chose regular purple for both the pants and the jacket, as it's much simpler. We decided to keep the dark hair for a few reasons, including the fact that his day job is in the Air Force xD But also, the Animated Series and the older Jokers have all had dark hair as well.

The pants and jacket are made from purple gabardine. The jacket is lined with the same material the vest is made from, a grass green casa satin. The orange shirt was purchased.

The makeup was done with some green tinges at the edges and around the eyes to make him look a little moldy, and the lips were done to make his smile appear wider than it is.

Eric really is blind as a bat xD He remembered to take his glasses off for some photos, but not for others. Fear of touching the eye makes contacts kinda impossible ^^;
