This was my first attempt at making a Mascot costume, someone told me how to make one many youma's ago (who i actually got to thank at the con YEY!) I finally got around to making it. I actually got the idea at like 4 in the morning after working on my blue mage bartz, which never got done, but I did do blue mage moogle one of the days. The costume is this fleece/faux fur kinda thing that I bought at walmart a few years back, the feet are wool felt with actual padding on the bottom (yey for working at Joannes) The nose and pom are ball pit balls (no I didn't steal them) and the eyes are made of craft foam. The wings are made of bottom weight stuffed with poly-fiber. The head has a box on the inside and is also stuffed with poly-fiber.

The hardest part of the costume had to either be the feet or the wings, the wings were tough to stuff, I did the upper bone on the wings with polly fiber, before stuffing them, I actually made the bone lines by sewing, making the area to fill the wings with very small...it took forever

The feet were 2 days before the con, and I hadn't slept all night, I kept on sewing them on backwards.

all in all the costume took roughly 100 sewing hours, give or take, just because I was learning as I went.
