The Cheshire cat is awesome! A j-rocker fashioned after the Cheshire cat is even more awesome and he's left handed just like me. Heck yes!

The costume was pretty easy for the most part. A simple sleeves shirt in a purple metallic crinkle fabric. Though the crinkly fabric made it a bit tedious to work with, I made it through without going mad. I altered a simple easy button up jacket/blazer and I used my favorite material white and black stretch sateen. It's trimmed with white ribbon, rhinestones and fur. The pants are actually Sasuke's pants and the Jabot I borrowed from Teru's outfit. The fur...the fur was a bit of nightmare. I was able to get the white fur at Joann's but the purple fur I had to order on-line and it was kind of expensive. I was hoping Joann's would get purple fur in but they never did. It was a tedious process of cutting strips of fur which left the house in a furry mess literally. The shapes were pretty basic for the fur bits but sewing was...RAWR. I made the ears to clip into the wig and they are probably my favorite part of the costume along with the tail. I used a pink punky wig I tediously dyed with purple sharpies. The crown pin took months of searching to find and I owe the find to my brother. He has good hunting skills *LOL*. Yumeru has his chin pierced...I put a jewel there instead.

Now I just need to get pictures of me in the costume!
