This costume was a blast to make and wear, even though it did earn me the unofficial nickname of "Kabuki Mary Poppins". I made the skirt full enough that I needed a bridal petticoat under the costume to keep the fabric under control. Add the 40 mph wind that weekend, and I nearly took off. ;) The makeup was a challenge, since I'd never done full face paint before, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I also got to use my own hair for Suki instead of dealing with a wig, which was very nice. I hope to wear this costume again soon, if only to get to hang out with all the other awesome Avatar cosplayers out there.
