Lord Sesshomaru
InuYasha

InuYasha was one of the anime's that first introduced me to the wonders of japanese entertainment. I certainly felt the need to represent this anime to show my respect and appreciation for it. After scanning through all the potential characters to cosplay, it donned on me. Sesshomaru, as popular as he is, is a rarity to see at conventions (or at least, he is where I live). It was then that I set out to cosplay Sesshomaru and from there, I'm am very VERY happy with the end result.
~Reason for Retirement
I gotta say, of all my costumes I've worn, this one was one of the last cosplays I ever expected to retire. The first couple of cons I wore this guy to were very fun for me. But as time went on and I continued to wear the cosplay, it seemed like Sesshomaru became more and more uncomfortable to wear, every time I wore him. This guy was the definition of a "High Maintenance" cosplay. If it wasn't one thing, it was another. I had to constantly adjust the outfit as I wore it. I couldn't take 10 steps without having to fix up my fluff, armor, wig or sword. It was just plain annoying. Cosplay for me is something I do for fun, and It's not very fun wearing something that's extremely uncomfortable. After alot of thought and debate, I finally decided to put an end to all of it. But as long as I live, I will never forget the entertainment this cosplay brought me....even if the fun didn't last for a terribly long time.
