So I think it's safe to say that I FREAKING LOVE EGGMAN! Seriously, he's always been my favorite character from Sonic but I knew I could never pull him off properly because well... I'm tiny, female and not bald. =/ However, one magical day on /cgl/ I stumbled upong this picture:
And I knew it had to be done! Mine is slightly different than the reference because I wanted to stay true to the original outfit, such as the marks on the sleeves and the cuffs.

The jacket and skirt are made for cotton blends. I modified my Ouran jacket pattern for the top and drafted my own pattern for the skirt. I also made the tutu/petticoat under the skirt, which was rather fun to make. The squares/circles on the jacket are fun foam that I covered with fabric on glued on. The goggles are made from cotton, 2 Fuze bottle caps and 2 Coke bottle caps and velcro. The leggings and the shoes I already owned.

The wig was interesting for me since I've never worked with ponytails before. I was pressed for time so instead of trying to figure out how to stub a wig and attach the pigtails I bought a blonde Miku-type wig with clip-on pigtails. The pigtails were drastically cut and thinned (though I think one needs to be thinned a bit more) and then I had to dye all of it. I used the Sharpie dye method which seriously killed my tub; it's still kind of orange. DX I actually had to dye the wig twice since I messed up the first time and it ended up streaking the color.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with it though I butchered the zipper on the jacket. ^^; One day I'll fix that!
