Millie was one of my favorite Trigun characters, and after cosplaying female Wolfwood, I felt that I had to cosplay Millie, because I'm so like her. A couple of weeks before A-kon, I went with my aunt and picked out fabric for the coat (went with a light yellow, because the coat seemed light yellow to me, rather than khaki), and some turqouise for her little capelet. We had to improvise a bit on the coat, and cut it so that it was a straight at the collar, rather than have flaps n'such. I kind of messed up with the coat, thinking that it had a sort of "front flap", when it really was all one piece and overlapped, but that was my bad and it turned out well. My wig was ordered from cosplay.com, and I've learned that I need a wig cap, even with my thin hair and also that I kind of look good with longer hair. For the rest of the costume, I had the blouse, borrowed the pants from my aunt, and borrowed the tie from a friend. If I want to do this costume again, I'll either have to borrow them again, or buy my own. But Millie is a favorite, so I have a feeling that I might pull her out every once in awhile.
