I need to redo some things on this costume. The sleeves ended up being rushed. The sleeves, paw pads and mask will be redone for Acen.

This outfit was made almost entirely out of fleece. I wanted Tao to have a cuddly look about her. Let me just caution you, fleece is roasting hot T_T I had sweat dripping down my back outdoors in Ohio during January. The paw pads are felt because it's easier to satin stitch than felt on felt. The zipper pull is sculpy.

The mask is fail. Pretend it doesn't exist. I'm making a new one.

The shoes are my favorite part. They're super fun to pose in, except when you're dehydrated and wobbly. Basically, I took a pair of black platform shoes, cut the heel off, painted the undersole black (NOT the part the touches the ground!) and made a front piece to give it that flat hoof like look that Tao's shoes have in the reference picture.

I need to add on the heel chunk for Acen, too. It's likely going to be sculpy.
