This costume had a few problems (hose not being fully sheer to the waist as advertised, briefs always wanting to slip down, wig not turning out quite right, etc.), but it was a lot of fun to wear. <3 I plan to make the gloves and tiara by the next time I wear it.

I used a glittery satin for the costume which was perfect for the character! I was really excited when I found the fabric, give how ~*sparkly*~ Regina is all the time.


For Fanime 2011, I updated the costume slightly. I bought a new wig that fits the costume much better than my old one, I got a wand (Joann's dollar bin wand + glitter makes for a nice, cheap prop!), and I bought some gloves. I also swapped out the problematic sheer hose for fishnets, which created a new set of problems because they don't conform as well and make the briefs gap, but thankfully, it wasn't a disater like the previous year. Still no tiara, but I'm still happy with how it turned out. <3
