This outfit took me ridiculously long to make...I made the outfit part over 6 months (lol, right?) and the gun took like 3 months of on and off working...I am most proud of boota, the boots, and the scarf. I wanted to be really accurate so I made the scarf shaped just like Yoko's with some carfoam and stuffing :3 The scarf was probably the trickiest to envision and make, but construction-wise I think the gloves take the cake there. It took me forever to find the damn beltbuckle too haha, but I finally found the perfect one!!! This was my first time making shorts ALL by myself, and I am rather proud of them because shorts normally give me so much trouble. I suck at bottoms in general.
Sadly the gun broke by the end of the con, but I am confident I could fix it up in a week or so and make it PERMANENT this time. Last time I treated the clay with a sealer that made it brittle and broke off the bottles I used on the scope, major lamesauce :\ I had fun as Yoko though, and I am excited about her time jump and bounty hunter version :) I definitely need a new ponytail though, this one got WRECKED thanks to the damn gun. Byebye to another $80 for a new ponytail :[
Hopefully I'm going to get around to remaking this at some point in the near future. I may have found someone who will commission me the glasses (and I mean 200% accurate ones that are just lovely!) in the future. I'm keeping the scarf, boots, belt, boota, skull, and socks but remaking everything else. (And abandoning trying to make it prussian blue!) The shorts will be made out of wet look spandex, the top will be made out of matte pvc and the flames will be made out of shiny red pvc. The gloves will be made out of spacer material. The gun will get fixed up and re-painted as well.
