Sephiroth

Dissidia: Final Fantasy

Last Updated: 05-23-2010

Good lord. I started this in February and didn't finish it til mid-may. Longest project I have ever undertaken, though frequent illnesses and life changes have added a lot into that...

Where's to start? Let's do a head to toe pan. The wig is a Godiva in silver-white. My boyfriend helped me style it. The coat is made out of SY Fabrics black pleather. The shoulder armor is a mixture of foam (for the under pieces) while the over curve of the armor is an oversized Christmas ornament. (That was a tip from Envel, who got it from Amethyst Angel.) The shoulder drape on the right arm is the wrong side of blueish-purple baroque satin from JoAnn. The SOLDIER belt is leftover Whisper vinyl (for the straps) and the belt itself is two layers of foam between more SY Pleather. The feather-trimmed drape is muslin dyed with RIT dye and the feathers are harvested from a hand-dyed purple feather boa. The snaps are all from JoAnn's (large silver heavy duty). The rectangle rings were from the purse section in JoAnns as well. The glam-belt-thing is foam and some silver chain-cord. All beads are from JoAnns, yet again. Let's see... the grey straps on the boot covers are made of light grey Marine vinyl and velcro. The boots are Chopper-500s from Cosworx.

That SHOULD be it. If you have any specific questions, ask.

On another note, Sephiroth has always been a dream of mine. This was a bit hurdle in my life to even get the confidence to do him. I'm proud of how it turned out, but without the help of my awesome boyfriend (Inked~wrong) and my local cosplay buddy (envel) he could have easily stayed a dream.

A million thanks to all involved in this project. <3
