I had a grand time wearing this to the Sakura-Con masquerade ball! There are still a few things I would like to add for when I wear it again: More lace on the underskirt, making the dress and sleeves more poofy, doing the roses and hair better, etc. Despite all this, I am still proud of the costume! I made everything myself except the bridal petticoat that is under everything. (Though I definitely had to have help getting the dress on, and getting the roses in my hair. My friends were awesome for putting up with me.)
This was originally for a whole Paradise Kiss group, but no one else was able to make it. I did meet up with a Miwako and Mikako at the con, and with a group of NANA cosplayers. I want to wear this again for a shoot sometime when I can get more ParaKiss cosplayers.

The bodice is a slightly modified New Look boned corset-top pattern; The underskirt and overskirt are basically just big full skirts that I added ruffles, lace, scallops, hand-gathered ribbon and other details to.
I learned a lot making this costume, and look forward to making more dresses!
