This was a pretty simple costume.
I felt really insecure in such a short skirt >.> I did have yellow short shorts beneath it, though. I think that having such high socks to cover my knees was the only reason I could stand wearing something so short without tights.
The undershirt was horribly inaccurate due o time contraints, but since you see it, like, once (only in cover art, too), I didn't worry too much about it, just making sure I had the red strip across it. The jacket rocks. I've taken to wearing it a lot more than I should. ^^ The buttons don't really button, though... The top one closes with a snap, and the bottom one doesn't close in any way, because Ryoko only ever has the top one buttoned, and, again, times contraints were buggers. The cuffs are the best part of the costume. ^^;
The skirt was a pain to make, as it was my first time to press a pleated skirt. But other than that, it was easy to make.
And the kendo stick was fun to carry around and press the buttons for crosswalks. ^^;
