The first in a slew of planned Doctor Who costumes, I made this entire costume in just under a week and the actual dress in one night. The jacket, which is an actual replica of the one Rose wears in The Idiot's Lantern, was hand-dyed from white to the shade seen here with about twelve dye baths and four very patient nights, and the wig was a spare one I bought from my old high school's theatre department a couple of years ago and proceeded to wash, cut, and style.

Sadly, when I premiered this costume VERY few people recognized me (despite standing next to a Ten cosplayer the whole day). I got a lot of "Are you Barbie?"'s though!
