Where to start on this one! Well, after making Yaya's Lenalee last year, I wanted to read D.Gray-man, so I did, and fell in love with Lavi and decided to cosplay him. The uniform overall was easy enough, except drafting the jacket to fit me more like a guy but still flatter me since I'm not a guy at all. My scarf of doom was too pimp. Lavi's scarf seems to have a mind of it's own, and so did mine.

The pants were a bit crazy. Figuring out when to stitch down what part of the leather was a bit mind boggling. It worked out in the end though.

As for the boots, I bought them on cosworx and then added some detail to them myself. The gloves were simple and I did the turquoise tank under the jacket because all the pictures of Lavi seem to have one. I also made my eye patch. The wig was one I bought and ended up not having to do a thing to it.

The patches we wore were embroidered for us, and I made the cross bars. Yaya did all the bead work and made the buttons with the huge ass E on them.

Now, when it comes to the coolest part of the costume, I can take no credit for it. My brother made that pimp ass hammer. It's made of foam, crafting plastic, and swiffer handles...yes, swiffer handles^^ He wants to redo some parts before I use it again.
