My Scout costume was a VERY last minute decision on my part, started just two weeks before Anime Expo. As my luck had it, I had almost all of the pieces I needed - including the absolute PERFECT pants, from my mother's wardrobe. Anything I didn't have was found for very cheap, including comfortable black cleats for $1 from the Salvation Army. :)

At the moment, I am still waiting for my foam bat to come in the mail. It is made to look like wood, and will be split, painted and taped to look just like the Sandman. :D Besides that, the costume is completely finished.
