Left 4 Dead

I knew I had wanted to cosplay Zoey from the very first time I saw her when Left 4 Nothin' first came out, but didn't really have the time or motivation to actually put it together. But let me say, now that I have it: I love this costume!! It's soooo comfortable!! Definitely a great costume for kicking back at a convention in, but still recognizable. It was so cool having people just kind of wave at me randomly and say, "Hi, Zoey." all day.
The construction was simple enough, I ordered the jacket from kmart.com, after seeing it in the store, but never bothering to pick it up. I originally thought the jacket was red, turned out to be more of a pink, so I tried dying it. That didn't work, but the shade it is now is more of the in-game colour than the art colour anyways..So it works. The collar isn't right either, but I'll live with it. I bought bias tape for the trim, and sewed on the stripes down the sides with left over fabric from another costume.
The tank top I used from my Tifa (FFVII) so it's hemmed up pretty short. Because of that, I never take that jacket off when I'm wearing it. Ever.
The jeans I bought from Ross for about $14, I think. And they were in my size and were the right shade and everything! I just rolled them up.
I already owned the converse. And the shot gun was originally purchased for another cosplay that's still being made. But I <3 boomsticks (an m-16 is typically my gun of choice, though). I'm very busy and I don't like working on cosplay anymore. I still need to make a Med Kit, which I'll do very soon and probably take to Long Beach Comic Con.
