The head is made with plastic mesh and batting, covered with that furry fleece fabric. It looks really neat, because the fur is all curly and shiny, like it was on fire. My sis is making the other two, and they each have their own fabric for the costume too, to match the elements. The head is pretty heavy, due mainly to the huge ears, and I've had to support them with clothes hangers. X3 It looks kinda' like a big furry bunny pinata.

The ruff is a foam shell covered with a shiny and hairy fabric, to resemble fire. The hair and tail are pretty much fire-shaped pillows, sewn in place. The tail has a belt in the upper part of it that goes across my chest to hold the tail close to my body and to keep the weight of it from pulling down on my costume.

The shoes are bedroom slippers covered with the fabric, with yarn to make the toes. Unfortunately, the fur was so hairy that you couldn't see the toes anyway.

The gloves were three-fingered to look more like paws. Mine were a tad small, so I had a hard time getting them off and on.

There was a fan sewn into the head of the costume, because without it, I couldn't last more than fifteen seconds in there without my glasses fogging up and me not being able to breathe. The battery pack was too heavy to fit into the head, so it was actually put into a little sewn holder that I put around my neck and a long wire to connect the two. It was really hard to plug and unplug the fan, though.

The vision was the worst. I could see decently out of the two eyes, because they were made from some sort of plastic vinyl. It was like wearing sunglasses. The bad part was the fact that the eyes were so far on either side that I couldn't see directly in front of me. I had to keep swinging my head side to side just to see where I was going.

This costume was part of a group of Eeveelutions that consisted of Flareon, Vaporeon, and Jolteon. My sister made the other two costumes, and my mom wore the Jolteon.
