A bunch of folks from the Acen forums got together and we decided to do an Invader Zim group because Rikki Simmons, the voice of Gir, was going to be there. I figured I was going to do Miss Bitters: I had the black dress, the boots, and I could keep my glasses on (they were perfect!) The only thing that wasn't perfect...that stupid wig.

I know that Miss Bitters doesn't have curly hair. I thought that surely someone (especially my friend who was in a lot of plays) would have one of those "old lady wigs" the ones with grey hair in a bun. However, Acen drew nearer and no wig turned up. Acen was coming up really really fast, and I remembered that there was a wig store by my school. That curly monstosity was the only grey one I could find. So I figure, "it's all good, I'll just straighten it" WRONG WRONG WRONG. The thing is like permanently curly. I tried all kinds of products.

I think I put a whole bottle of hair straightener in that thing the morning I was to wear it. No good. So I had to go with a crummy curly wig. My "pale" white makeup looks really bad too. However, this Halloween I shall buy an old lady wig with a bun, and I believe that Miss Bitters will be reborn someday! ^__^
