Random Purple Gypsy Dancer?

Just another gypsy costume for the faire. This time I choose purple because I had a ton of extra fabric in different variations. Nothing special. Came out pretty well, though.
I used Simplicity #5359 for the skirt, but instead of using their waistline (as I did not like it last year) I just used some fabric and made an elastic band. Also added in some coin trim.
I think I used that same pattern for the harem pants, as well.
As for the top, I bought a bra, cut it up and covered it in fabric. Then added tassels (which I made by hand, out of yarn--super easy) and some chain (that was actually beaded chain) and coin trim.
Oh, and I took some fake flowers and glued them to hair clips for my hair.
Overall a very easy costume. The most time consuming part was the bra, and even that only took a few hours total.
After this I added some brown ruffling to the bottom of the skirt, which made it much heavier and allowed it to flow differently when I danced, which created a very very pretty look!
