Juvenile Orion

It was fun to do but not many people knew who I was. Unforunately, I don't think I will be wearing this costume again. I have to many to make already....

how I made it: well, for the cloak I used the pattern of Neo's cotume fromt he matrix, but instead of black made it white. I then used the left over to make some of the extra stuff (the neck thing, not the collar XD). For the tie, i measuerd one of my dad's ties and then bought purple silk for those measurments. I bought extra for the crosses. There are crosses that hold on the neck thing (not the collar), but I just hot glued the thing on then found wooden crosses which I painted white. After they dried I hot glued them in there places. with more extra white cloth I made the cross on the tie. The wings were kind of cheap, and easy to make. I bought two pool noodels and more white cloth. I hot glued the cloth to the pool noodles(separately) so they would cover them completely. After that, I spent hours glueing feathers. For the body of the wings I glued small feather all over to make them look soft (and they were). then I bougth big feather that I glued to the end. To make the pool noodles bend you need to duct tape them bent (before the cloth is put on) also tape them together (OH IMPORTANT, leave the bottom uncovered with cloth). Then you have to buy one of those water pack thing, they just carry water. Well take the water pouch out and put the wings in, they hold nicely and can't be seen. The wings begin to sag though after a few days, but it made them look awesome. I wore spandex for pants and they were black. I also wore white dockmartins that came up to my knee (nay knee high boot works, they don't even have to be knee high ^^)
