I started work on this costume a while back with all intentions to have it fully completed by AWA 2010. Unfortunately real-life got in the way and I wasn't able to complete her, but I was still able to wear her.
Through the course of the year I found myself finishing the little things, fixing things I did sloppily in my haste to get her done in mere days before AWA. I finally finished the bootcovers, added trim to the braid and tails holes, made a new zipper pull out of sculpey. The mask is still a work in progress! I hated how uneven the original one was, despite sanding it and repainting it, so I bit the bullet and covered the base mask with some jet-set I had lying around. It looks infinitely better! The teeth are actually sticky-felt that didn't stick, which was a bummer. I have plans to re-make the mask entirely with swappable expressions, so that will be too fun!
I can't wait to finish her 100%, the way I'd intended her to be from the start!
