My friend wanted to do a costume with me this year for Blizzcon, so I picked the boss Twin Val'kyr.
This was my first costume I ever made myself (and I had to make everything in twos) so I focused on the few key parts and making it look good rather than complete accuracy.

-For the basic outfit I shifted from what the Val'kyrs wear to a corset+panties design, which also made it possible to strapless-mount the wings.

-For the wings I followed JiaJem's wing tutorial <3

-The helmets are made using a cardboard base with resin, fiberglass, and bondo to strengthen and shape it. I didn't have as much time on these as I wanted, someday I want to sand the paint off, fill in all the little cracks and imperfections, shape the tops a bit better, and airbrush paint them (I also learned in doing this that I don't know how to paint without leaving brush strokes...).

-The wraps were supposed to be made entirely out of elastic for comfort and flexibility. However, there were numerous problems with the design and I couldn't get them done in time for the convention :( Another thing I want to do someday is get the wrap design down well and make those properly.

-The V-shaped armor pieces were made from craft foam.

-The belts were craft foam covered in vinyl.
