This one of the most annoying costumes to make! When I initially drew up the pattern for it, I figured it would be a cake-walk. It was far from it. I started this costume in January 2005 and didn't complete it until August 2005.
All of the pink fabric is hand-dyed, the skirt is almost entirely hand-sewn (made of 3 separate layers), the cape was sewn entirely in reverse on the sewing machine (since the normal 'forward' stitch was broken), and I grew out & dyed my hair for this costume.
