This dress took forever! I thought I'd never see and end to it. I also made Syaoran's outfit to match.
The dress is made of bridal satin and the gold detail was done with puff paint. It took a broken 26 hours simply to apply. each section I did took an hour then took an hour to dry before starting the next part! Many hours went into these outfits.
I made the patterns for these cosplays myself. I purposely made it so that nothing dragged on the ground because I knew we were going to wear them to the masquerade. I really felt like a princess that night!

Syaoran was a mixture of fabrics. The cloak was made of polyester and the edges were burned with flame. It gave it a nice texture.
The armor on the shoulders are made of foamie so not to injure anyone if they bumped into it. The mask and gauntlets are made of wonderflex and designed in a way that they move and very durable.
The vest was detailed with puff paint and Japanese glass beads and Swarovski crystals hand sewn on.

It was so fun to wear this labor of love. I felt so elegant and proud of what I had done.
