A small cosplay i wanted to do for a long time. ^^;; The costume isn't the most detailed thing there is to make. But for some reason this had to be the most annoying cosplay yet!!!! I tried to fully finish this cosplay twice. Everytime before each convention i wanted to wear it, things went horribly wrong and i didn't have time to fix these things. o.o So simple, but so not willing to work with me....
In the end, i like the cosplay a lot. It was fun to make.

========= CREATION =========
A fun challenge to make even though it was rather simple. The decoration item hanging down from the hat was the hardest part to make and probably took up most of my time. I had to redo this accessory about 3 times. The first 2 times it looked like a squashed christmass ball and a baby toy. I'm still not sure if it looks exactly as it should be looking, but i'm happy enough with it. The hat is made out of cardboard, chickenwire, paper, metal wires, craftfoam, ribbon, glue and lots of thread.
Yes, this is actually just a look-a-like staff made after the one of Atoli has in her Xth form. I didn't really like the staves Shino has in her other forms. And the one she has in her x-th form is impossible to make since i have to defy gravity in all ways with it. ^^
Made out of paper, plastic sphere and a wooden stick.
And this is the thing that keeps giving me trouble. =_= I think i made a mistake in the pattern and never found out what it is. Things are never symmetric with this coat. =_= I also burned the dark red fabric a few times when i was ironing it. (grrrrr) And it was quite a fun challenge to get the buttflaps stand stiff and still flex when i sit. ^^ The secret: vliseline and welding iron. :p
have fun ~~
