Jasmine was also one of my favorite disney princesses.
Her idea of being free, doing anything she wants without boundaries spoke to me as well as falling in love.
She is also very pretty.
I took this version as I was in love with the dress.
It is actually the dress she wears in the first movie when her dad is going to announce their engagement (Aladdin + Jasmine) and during the scene where Jafar is becoming the sultan.
But the dress is also known as the "dress up" version in the figurines world. ;-)
Jewellery: made with stretch gold fabric (lamé), craft foam, plastic, glue, gold paint and wire
The earrings itself are pierced to avoid pain and the possibility that they were going to slip off.
The "jems" were made out of fimo, paint and old badges.
Wig: bought a wig and heavily changed it. !6! packs of hair extensions were added to create the look. Due to the bad weather (wind + rain) the wig was partly trashed and more hair pins were used than normal.
Dress: lavender satin and white satin + lavender organza.
the tricky part is getting the "female" figure into the dress.
none, but a Portugese reporter congratulated us and we were photographed by a man who works for Disneyland France!
