Heh. This version just started out as some simple repairs, after my first debut at Akon 2010. All I was going to do was make new gloves, fix my bead belt and pendant, shorten the hem on the cape, and repaint my boots!
Then I actually got started.
First it was the gloves. I found myself thinking, why not change the design a bit? Then it was: Well this is pretty, but what about some trim? Then it was: Why not put trim on the wrist parts? Then the hand parts? >.<;;
Next it was the cape. I shortened the hem, and all was good. Then I thought, I have this pretty beaded trim that would look pretty on this... And I ended up messing up my cape when I was sewing the trim on. So I had to make a completely new one. So I made a new one, with a new design, necklace chain, and pendant. It came out much better than expected.
Then I thought: I'm not happy with these scarves. I can make more vibrant ones! So I went and got more fabric, and made brand new scarves, with brand new designs and combinations, then I added trim and beads and hooks and my hands STILL hurt from it all! But I figured it'd be my small tribute to Amano's work.
Then I ended up making better jewelry to match the new necklace, adding curls and a new ribbon to the wig, and other tiny details that I won't bore you with.
So, since the design had changed so much, I figured it would be better to relist it as a new version.
