Kai is one of those characters that stuck with me because of her uniqueness and design. This costume is definitely not the sort of costume I usually do, which made it all the more fun. My vision for the costume was to convey the nitty-gritty side of Kai which heavily influenced my choice of fabrics with more natural textures as opposed to obviously synthetic ones.

Everything you see on the costume was made by me and any designs you see were all freehanded with no pre-planning whatsoever. I ended up drafting all of my patterns for the costume as well. Many thanks to my friend Meesh for helping me with the wig, which turned out to be quite a pain in the toosh.
