Progress so far:

-My dress/tunic is complete :) It was quite easy to make, because Kai's tunic is very ramshackle and torn and frayed in some places, so it didn't need to be sewn too much :) It took me two attempts to get it right, because I accidentally cut it too short >.< But it's alright now. I made it out of an old blue bed-sheet I had that luckily was the right shade of blue! And some old scraps of material I had from other cosplays.

-Beanie is complete. It was definitely the easiest part of the costume to make! I made it out of an old red hoodie that didn't fit me anymore. I put stuffing in the 'ears' to make them stand up (which worked a charm!!) and glued on the brown vinyl strips. I used Model Magic to make the little white button things and then just glued them on. Easy as!! :)

-Arm and leg bandages are complete too. They were just strips of leftover material from my tunic. Though they sometimes fall down, so I will have to fix that somehow >.<

-The wig was second-hand from my lovely friend Nicole (amyleeyummy.deviantart.com). It's a little too short for my liking, but it'll do :) I used the extensions she sent me to make Kai's braid-like things at the front. The extensions were curly, so I used my sister's hair straightener to straighten them out - luckily they were heat resistant!! I used simply white knitting string to weave around it. I just need to spike the wig up a bit :)

**The only thing left to do is make my crossbow and harness. And buy some black and white face-paint for Kai's crazy make-up! ^_^
