I've always wanted to cosplay as him, but not in his typical red coat as I always thought it looked funny. His cloaked version (in the flashback episodes) is so cool looking, and since I've rarely seen it cosplayed, I decided on that one. It was a really comfortable cosplay, and a ton of fun to wear (especially with my sis as my Joshua, lol). It was nice to get more use out of my Sai wig, too.
The boots, undershirt, and pants were all bought and some of them altered. The capelet was made out of a giant old shirt. ^_^;; The armor pieces at the neck are cardboard covered in material with fabric paint detailing, and the pocket watch was a styrofoam ball covered in paper mache and painted with a few added details. The back of it looks like crap, though, hahaha.
Unfortunately, my old wig bit the big one, but luckily I got a new one for my birthday that's even longer, darker, and just plain cooler, lol. Roommate got some great shots of me with my new wig (and contacts and purple eyebrows ^_^) - now all I need is to figure out how to get the ears to look right...
