This was my first "real" cosplay(in my opinion). Absolutely loved cosplaying as Black Beard, and loved every minute of it. (well not every minute :P) But Ohayocon was a blast, I got a lot of recognition and compliments for this and want to thank everyone who did!

But it took me about 1 and 1/2 to 2 months to make the coat, about 85-90% was made by me and the rest done by my buddy "HiddenRecords."

The pants were done kind of last minute, but I love the way they turned out. I referenced a picture of Black Beard and drew the pattern on the pants on myself w/ a fabric marker.

The dress shirt was bought from Kohls, the jewerly...which includes: 11 rings(all fake but 1), two necklaces and two braclets. (JESUS CHRIST this man wears a lot of jewerly x.x) The three guns I had were all just toy guns I carried around and a small flask from a store.

Then the wig and hat was bought from a halloween store. The hat actually had a skull and crossbones on it and gold trim when I bought it. I cut the gold trim off and carefully cut off the skull/crossbones w/ a knife then ran over w/ a permanent marker.

Then just made my beard and eyebrows black. Also, I did originally put tooth wax over 2-4 teeth but unfortunately they got annoying and ended up either taking them off by accident or just not bothering.

But I hope to make some improvements for ACEN 2011! I do plan on making my own hat! Thanks again...peace
