This is probably my strangest choice of a character. I usually take handsome and young guys, tormented souls between good and evil. Sometimes I like to play the bad guy, but this is the KING of the bad guys and he's not handsome at all!
Well, it all begun when, three years ago during a New-Year party, I spoke with Fiammetta and then Elettra about a big group from Harry Potter. We dreamed a group so big that Lucca Comics would think of an invasion of wizards and witches from Hogwarts, and we dreamed about organizing it for the 2010's edition of the convention, the year of release of Deathly Hallows' movie.
We told Japo and Rikkyna about our idea and so all we Cosplayers Within (the group I'm a part of), together with the Grimmauld Place n° 12 (a cos-group of HP here in Italy) and Fiammetta and Elettra we started to take people in the project.
At the end, we were 43. It's been one of the most incredible experiences I had as a cosplayer, and one of my dearest memory of my whole life.
Now, about my Voldemort's outfit... the costume itself is really simple, just two dresses and a cloak, burned and ruined properly to look like the ones in the movies. The make up took half an hour, and it wasn't easy or without problems that I managed to transform my face (which is cute U___u) into the ugly, noseless Voldermort's. Don't tell anyone else (:P) but I had to cut my hair to make them enter the fake bold latex thing I had on my head °__°
Well, the materials I used for the make up were: latex and cotton to "cut" my nose, together with some scotch to keep my real nose at bay; supra-color (white, grey and purple) for the make up itself.
