The "Do You Want to Date My Avatar" video was A) hilarious, and B) my introduction to the wonderful world of The Guild. I knew from the moment Codex came on screen in the vid that I wanted to make that outfit SO BADLY, but lacking the space to build costumes at the time, I had to put her off. Till 2010. And oh, she was made XD

I decided to make her corset and knee guards out of leather-look material instead of corduroy, both because A) I couldn't find any gosh-darned corduroy in the heat of summer and B) I think it's more game-appropriate anyway. You buy leather vests in MMOs, not corduroy breastplates. :)

But anyway, she was super fun to make, my boyfriend helped me out with her AWESOME staff (the globe was a beetch to make, but I LOVE how it turned out!) and I'm just really proud of everything :) She was SUPER FUN to wear, as well as being comfortable (costumes that don't hurt, what foolery is this?!) and I had SUCH an amazing time! :D
