I adore DeathNote. I'm always pimping DeathNote on livejournal. And to friends. So, (as I'm realizing as I'm writing all these costume descriptions) I was talking about DeathNote, and cosplay, to Ender, and he was talking about wanting to cosplay L, and I mentioned that I thought I'd make an awful Raito, he kind of dissuaded me from that train of thought (and finding the perfect wig from Karen's Wigs International on eBay helped a lot), within a week I had the costume together. Thrift store all the way, baby.
Raito is my "easy" costume (despite my failure at ties). I actually wear the wig a lot outside of cons because I like it so much.
